Fairlead Boatworks Awarded MSC General Ship Repair Contract

Newport News, VA, 22 March 2018 – Fairlead Integrated announced today that its Boatworks division in Newport News, VA was awarded five-year IDIQ contract to provide East Coast General Ship Repair services to Military Sealift Command (MSC).

Scope of the IDIQ includes structural repairs, preservation work, main propulsion and electrical generator maintenance and repairs, underwater hull and propeller inspection and cleaning, RHIB and lifeboat maintenance and repair, among others. Work will take place onboard MSC vessels at Government facilities located on the east coast.
