Portsmouth, VA – August 13, 2015  Fairlead Integrated was awarded the design and development contract for the Spall Repair Kit Prototype contract, issued by the System of Systems Consortium (SOSSEC), an Other Transaction Authority (OTA), on behalf of the U.S Air Force and the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).

The Spall Repair Kit design is comprised of three (3) Quadcon International Organization for Standardization (ISO) containers primarily focused on all spall airfield repairs. Fairlead’s design differs from the current spall repair kit due to its deployability, smaller tools and equipment, making it much easier and faster for the warfighter to dispatch. Additionally, the Spall kit must be tightly packaged in the ISO containers in order to be compatible with other prototypes that are part of the ADR Modernization program.

Fairlead Integrated was awarded this Firm Fixed Price contract and will complete the Spall Repair Kit Prototype within 6 months of receiving the award.
